The Mercedes-Benz Unimog name is an acronym of the German “Universal-Motor-Gerat”; this R/C model assembly kit recreates the 406 Series vehicle that was a hit since its debut in 1963. A polycarbonate body recreates the distinctive form with curved hood and round headlights, with a separate metal-plated depiction of the front grille for extra realism, plus separately moulded side mirrors and air intake. This product features the body pre-painted in blue grey with black lower sections.
– Left: The realistic polycarbonate body (shown here from the rear) is conveniently pre-painted.
– Right: A metal-plated grille ensures that the front of the body also has a highly realistic appearance.
– Left: Separately moulded parts are employed to depict side mirrors and distinctive stalks, plus air intake.

CC-02 Chassis – Off Road, Evolved
Designed for a wide range of off-road scenes including rocky terrain, the CC-02 chassis’ ladder frame is inspired by full-size vehicles and is the base for its superior durability. A 4WD setup employs the motor longitudinally behind the front axle with separated gearbox and transfer case, and propeller shafts transmitting power to the differential gears front and rear. Four-link rigid suspension is employed front and rear, with CVA oil dampers for all-encompassing control, even on tricky rock sections. This model comes with red dish design wheels and grippy block pattern tires.
– Left: The ladder frame is modelled upon those employed by full-size cars, and offers excellent rigidity on this 1/10 scale vehicle.
– Right: The front midship motor provides power via central gearbox and then propeller shafts to both front and rear axles.
– Left: Metal chassis frame sections facilitate exemplary durability, while CVA oil damper ensure that you get the maximum off-road performance.
– Right: Axle housings are moulded in reinforced plastic, and house 3-bevel differentials. They can be locked when running on lower-grip surfaces.
